Tutoring: If you feel you are having difficulty with learning then come to tutoring!!! I am here to help you. Tutoring is usually available Monday through Thursday from 2:30pm till 3:30pm. However, you must make arrangements with your teacher to schedule a tutoring day and time. Sometimes the teacher may be in a meeting or have an off campus responsibility. Showing up for tutoring without scheduling with your teacher may result in an empty room. Attendance: You must come to class and be on time to ensure academic success. This class is fast paced, hands-on and inquiry based; therefore, attendance is critical. When you are absent, you miss critical information and activities. Due to the time required in setting up labs and getting materials processed and ready, there are very few labs that can be made up. All labs will be announced in advance so please be present. Homework/Assignments: Yes, you will have homework!! Homework is due at the beginning of class …NO EXCEPTIONS; otherwise, it is late. The homework/assignments will be posted at the front of the classroom so please record it in your planner/notebook. ANY activities/worksheets not completed in class is automatically designated as homework and due the next class day. Supply List: I provide many supplies to the class for common use. However, it is helpful if students have colored markers, colored pencils, glue, clear tape and scissors of their own. Sometimes we don’t have enough classroom supplies for every student. If you would like to donate supplies to our classroom, I am always in need of white copy paper, colored copy paper, scissors, markers, colored pencils, dry erase markers, facial tissue and hand sanitizer.
